ONPATH AND CROOKED
This walk by Natuurmonumenten goes right through the lake area near Kortenhoef and Loosdrecht. It is a beautiful route through nature with lots of water and meadows with cows. During your walk, do you see a blue flash above the ditch? Then chances are you will see a kingfisher flying!
THE CORVERSBOS
The forest is located on the outskirts of Hilversum and borders the Spanderswoud, and several estates such as Landgoed Gooilust, buitenplaats Boekesteyn and buitenplaats Schaep en Burgh. Because of the abundance of greenery, you can take endless walks and bike rides here. It is also the perfect place to spot wildlife!
THE HORNBEAM HEATH
The Hoorneboegse Heide is a nature reserve located south of the built-up area of Hilversum. The area comprises approximately 190 hectares of nature reserve managed by the Goois Natuurreservaat. It is a beautiful, varied nature reserve in a rolling landscape where you can enjoy hiking during any season. The area is grazed by cattle which keeps the landscape open.
LAMBERITZKADE
The bird lookout can be found on the Dirck A Lambertszkade in Loosdrecht. Through a beautiful narrow path surrounded by water you can reach this lookout of Waternet. Here you have a beautiful view of both the Loenderveense Plas and the Wijde Blik. A wonderful place with a beautiful view to visit during a bike ride or hike. The Laberitzkade can be reached on foot from Haven Lake Village.
